American politician Beau Biden is one of them. Joe Biden, who was elected as the 46th US President in 2020, is the father of Beau Biden. Additionally, while in office, he made a name for himself by successfully prosecuting Early Bradley, a serial child molester who was arrested on 471 counts of molestation in 2010.

Early Lifestyle and Childhood

On February 3, 1969, Beau Biden was born in Wilmington, North Carolina, in the United States. He died on May 30, 2015, and his zodiac sign was Aquarius. Likewise, Joseph Robinette "Beau" Biden III is his full name.

Joe Biden is his father, and Neilia Hunter is his mother. Sadly, on December 18, 1972, while out Christmas shopping, a car accident claimed the lives of his mother and his 13-month-old sister Naomi. Hunter, his younger brother, was just under three years old at the time, and he was just under four. Both individuals who were in the automobile at the time of the collision survived despite having serious injuries.

He also got many shattered bones, while Hunter also sustained head injuries. They spent several months in the hospital. Additionally, he and his brother Hunter allegedly persuaded their father to get remarried. They also received Jill Jacobs as a "second mother" in June 1977. He received his diploma from Archmere Academy. In 1991, he earned his degree from the University of Pennsylvania. In this university, Biden belonged to the Psi Upsilon fraternity. He also earned his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law.

Death

Beau Hunter had a brain tumor for the last few years of his life. He was admitted after claiming to have a headache, numbness, and paralysis. Christiana Hospital is located in Newark, Delaware. He had a "mild stroke," according to officials, in 2010. He was moved to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia later that month and maintained there for several days under observation.

Then, in August 2013, he received a brain cancer diagnosis and was admitted to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. At that point, a lesion was also excised. Additionally, he received chemotherapy and radiation treatments, and cancer didn't progress. He was also admitted on May 20, 2015, to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, due to a brain cancer recurrence. Sadly, he passed away there ten days later.

Professional Life

After graduating from law school, Beau Biden worked as a legal clerk for Judge Steven McAuliffe of the United States District Court of New Hampshire. In the U.S., he worked as a federal prosecutor. Attorney's Office of the United States Department of Justice in Philadelphia from the years 1995 to 2004, originally serving as counsel to the office of policy development.

Similarly, he was in Kosovo in 1999 and worked for the OSCE to train judges and prosecutors for the local court system. This was after the Kosovo War. In addition, he joined Bifferato, Gentilotti, Biden & Balick as a partner in the year 2004, where he practiced law for two years before being chosen as the attorney general of Delaware. Additionally, Joe Biden introduced his father during the 2008 Democratic National Convention after being nominated for vice president of the United States.

In 2003, he enlisted in the military and enrolled in the University of Virginia's JAG School while serving in the Delaware Army National Guard. In the same way, he rose to the rank of Major while serving with the 261st Signal Brigade in Smyrna, Delaware. He even made the trip from Iraq to Washington, D.C. in January 2009 to attend the inauguration of the president and the swearing-in of his father as vice president before returning to Iraq.

He finished his year of active duty in September 2009 and returned from Iraq. He also received the Bronze Star Medal for his efforts in Iraq. Army Chief of Staff Raymond Odierno gave the eulogy at his funeral following his passing. Beau Biden was also given a posthumous Legion of Merit for his work with the Delaware National Guard, which was awarded the remark, "Beau Biden possessed the attributes I have witnessed in only the greatest commanders."

Political Career

In 2006, Biden made his first run for public office as a candidate for Delaware's attorney general. He prevailed over the opposition by almost five percentage points. And following the election, he appointed Richard S., a former attorney general of Delaware and international judge. Gebelein was appointed Chief Deputy Attorney General, and Richard G. Andrews, a former assistant U.S. Attorney, was named State Prosecutor. Likewise, Biden backed and upheld stricter registration requirements for sex offenders when serving as Attorney General.

Following his election as vice president in 2008, Joe Biden stepped down from the Senate. He was unable to run in the 2010 special election, nevertheless. To better concentrate on the trial of Earl Bradley, a convicted serial child rapist, he also thought about running for the Senate but decided against it. In 2010, Biden handily defeated Doug Campbell, the nominee of the Independent Party of Delaware, to win a second term as attorney general of Delaware.

In 2014, he decided not to run for a third term as attorney general. Then, in the spring of that same year, he declared his intention to challenge Democratic Governor Jack Markell for the office of Governor of Delaware in the 2016 election. The Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Foundation (HOBY) presented him with the Albert Schweitzer Leadership Award on November 4, 2015, in recognition of his humanitarian work. Additionally, the "Beau Biden Cancer Moonshot" program is named in his honor and is included in the 2016 21st Century Cures Act. Then, in August 2016, Joe Biden, his sister Valerie Biden Owens, and his son Hunter attended a ceremony to rename a highway in southeast Kosovo "Joseph R. 'Beau' Biden, III" in recognition of his assistance to Kosovo in the form of judicial and prosecutorial training.

In addition, Joe Biden wrote a memoir in 2017 called "Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose" in which he discussed his sickness and passing. Also in 2020, Joe Biden made reference to him in a speech and compared him to Pete Buttigieg, a former mayor of South Bend, after Buttigieg endorsed Biden for the 2020 presidential election.

In 2002, Hallie Oliver and Beau Biden got married. Natalie Naomi Biden and Robert Hunter Biden II are the names of the couple's son and daughter, respectively. Both of them were born in 2004, and the other in 2006.  He was a loving husband, father, and member of the family.
